From December 7-28, 2018, New City Arts, supported by UVA Arts & the Office of the Provost & the Vice Provost for the Arts, presents Out of the Shadows, an exhibition of paintings and prints by Uzo Njoku.

From November 2-30, 2018, New City Arts presents Language of the Land, an exhibition of paintings of Virginia by Anna Bryant.

From October 5-26, 2018, New City Arts presents Drawings from Jail, an exhibition of pen drawings by Michael Doyle. This series of illustrations was drawn over the course of a year the artist spent in jail and explores themes ranging from isolation to redemption.

From September 7-28, 2018, New City Arts presents She Said, He Said, an exhibit of paintings by Valencia Robin and drawings and animation by Matt Smithson.

From August 3-31, 2018, New City Arts presents Cville People Everyday, a photography exhibit by Eze Amos.

From June 1-28, 2018, New City Arts, supported by The FUNd at CACF, presents TRIO, an exhibit of new paintings, drawings, and works on paper by Abby Kasonik.

From May 4-25, 2018, New City Arts presents In the Homeland We've Never Seen, a solo exhibition by Murad Khan Mumtaz.

From April 6-27, 2018, New City Arts presents Visage, an exhibition of drawings and paintings by Charlottesville artists Frank Walker and Jae Jae Johnson.

From March 2-29, 2018, New City Arts presents The Practice of Process, works by Frank Phillips.

From February 2-23, 2018, New City Arts presents What Everything is Made Of, new works by VM FISK.

From January 12 - 26, 2018, New City Arts presents the New City Artist Exchange at Welcome Gallery, featuring original works by Charlottesville artists Brittany Fan, Carol Barber, Eze Amos, Greg Antrim Kelly, James Johnson, Juliana Daugherty, Kirsten Hemrich, Lara Call Gastinger, Maggie Stein, Matt Smithson, Sarah Miller, Valencia Robin, and VM Fisk. All proceeds from the sales of the Exchange work will benefit Housing2Home.
