Rachel Baker is a writer and editor, and the cofounder of The Spread, a weekly newsletter that rounds up the best of women’s media.

Before moving to Charlottesville from New York City in 2018, she was the longtime culture editor at Elle magazine, and prior to that, a senior editor at New York magazine. Rachel is also on the advisory board of the Tom Tom Festival. She lives in Greenbrier with lots of children.
