Karina A. Monroy: Brotando
From February 1-22, 2019, New City Arts presents Brotando, an exhibition of paintings, embroideries and sculptures inspired by the stories of Latina women by Karina A. Monroy. Karina is the Fall 2018 New City Arts Artist-in-Residence.
Ten Local Artists: 2019 Artist Exchange
From January 9 - 25, 2019, New City Arts presents the New City Artist Exchange at Welcome Gallery, featuring original works by Charlottesville artists Annie Temmink, Frank Walker, Golara Haghtalab, Grace Ho, Kaki Dimock, Karina A. Monroy, Matt Eich, Nick Watson, Phuong Duyen Nguyen, and Rayne MacPhee. All proceeds from the sales of the Exchange work will benefit Housing2Home.
