Join us for First Fridays on December 3 from 5:00-7:30PM for the opening of the 2021-2022 New City Artist Exchange at Welcome Gallery, featuring original works by Charlottesville artists Tori Cherry, Ashon Crawley, Jen Diebert, John Grant, Mary Lamb, Calista Lyon, Frank Phillips, Lisa Ryan, Andrea Ruedy Trimble, Joe Vena, and Derrick J. Waller.

New City Arts & Crafts is back with take-home sketchbooks handmade by November exhibiting artist and 2021-2022 New City Artist Exchange participant Tori Cherry. Each sketchbook includes 6 drawing prompts and was created with kids ages 5+ in mind (younger kids will need help reading the prompts).

On Tuesday, November 9 from 12:00-1:00PM, join us at Welcome Gallery for lunch and a drawing activity with artist, Tori Cherry.

Join us for a First Friday Opening Reception on November 5 from 5:00-7:30PM for In Good Time, an exhibition of still life and figurative paintings by Tori Cherry. This exhibition is presented by New City Arts and supported by UVA Arts & the Office of the Provost & the Vice Provost for the Arts.

Join us for a virtual artist talk with Marisa Williamson and Tori Cherry on Thursday, October 28 at 7:30PM EST. Marisa's work is on view this month in Situated Knowledge this month at New City Arts' Welcome Gallery, and Tori's work will be on view in November at Welcome Gallery.
